We recently stayed at Wendy's Country Lodge and had a wonderful experience. the lodge itself has a beautifully lush and green garden, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. the country house and restaurant exuded charm and hominess, making us feel right at home. the food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious. We were also impressed with the personal service we received. Both Wendy and her husband took the time to personally greet us and even invited us to their cozy bar. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 👌.

I keep coming back to my favorite lodge. Staff found my earphones once, so impressed me. Perfect for me. Free Wi-Fi, parking, AC, TV. Laundry, pool, golf, bar, restaurant. Welcome drink, snacks, picnic, board games. No pets, smoking. I'm coming back for more city trips.

The air-conditioned rooms at Wendy's Country Lodge are fantastic! They have a ceiling fan, which is great for those hot days, and the fridge is a lifesaver for keeping drinks and snacks cool. The garden views add a nice touch of tranquility to the room.

Personally, I found the mosquito net in one of the air-conditioned rooms to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I know some people might find it helpful.

I had such a fabulous stay at Wendy's lodge! The hosts were absolutely wonderful and made me feel like a friend from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast was just as good, served by cheerful and friendly staff. Despite going through a tragic bereavement, the hosts still went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend staying at Wendy's.

I had such a great time at this lodge! The location was perfect for exploring the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they also offer game drives. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Jenny who went above and beyond to assist us. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was of excellent quality. The lodge grounds were beautiful and well-tended, reflecting the care and effort put into them. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience true South African hospitality.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast each morning was delicious and varied, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was also excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions. the friendly staff, cleanliness, and great hotel facilities made our stay truly enjoyable.

The rooms at Wendy's Country Lodge are comfortable and cozy, with a nice view of the garden. I loved the private bathroom with the Victorian bath in the air-conditioned room. It felt luxurious and relaxing. The spacious rooms provide free WiFi access, making it easy to stay connected. Having a ceiling fan in all the air-conditioned rooms was a fantastic feature. It kept the room cool and comfortable.

Although some may enjoy the feature, personally I found the TV in the air-conditioned room unnecessary.

This accommodation exceeded all our expectations and was truly mind-blowing! The rooms were spacious and had the comfiest beds ever. The beautiful garden with the outdoor pool was an absolute paradise. The common areas like the living room and bar were perfect for meeting new people. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, and the hosts, Jenny and Gavin, treated us like family. They took amazing care of us, accommodating our allergies and sharing their stories. We had so much fun! Lovely property with beautiful garden and cool lounge. Clean, tastefully decorated rooms with terrace. Good breakfast and delicious dinner options. Knowledgeable owners who offer great safari experiences. Genuine South African hospitality.
